Shortly after starting the Aliva “Andes” project, the name chosen for our headquarters in Argentina, and following the interest expressed by a local ceramic distributor, we have taken contact with this work located right at the foot of the Andes, the backbone of the South American continent.

HOSPITAL - MILANO
In 2005, the Board of Directors of the Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico Foundation in Milan approved the project for the reconditioning of the Monteggia wing, an intervention that aimed at doubling the useful surface, approximately 12.000 m2.

ALIVA designed and supplied the aluminium alloy substructure and the porcelain stoneware tile panels for the cladding of two buildings in Guadalajara.

PALACIO DE HIERRO The renovation project of the "Palacio de Hierro" in Perisur (near Mexico City) has underlined how the top-level ability of planning and the profound technical know-how of Aliva can guarantee extreme flexibility and precision to the complex architectural project aimed at remodelling the existing building, built in the 60s, with a precise intent to give it a new institutional state-of-the-art image and a distinct personal character.

MACERATA SEMINARY
The ventilated facade of the Nuovo Seminario di Macerata (New Seminary of Macerata) was planned by its designer using fired brick cladding panels of 30x40 cm base modules, interspaced with bands of Ascoli travertine with 90x45 cm base modules.

LA SCALA THEATRE
For the restoration and extension of the La Scala Theatre in Milan, ALIVA created the external cladding of the two new architectural facades designed by Architect Mario Botta.
