1.Using only and exclusively non-combustible materials, in fact, all products offered by Aliva in its ventilated facades are classified with the highest degree of reaction to fire existing to date: A1 and A2 - according to UNI EN 13501-1. The reference standard defines non-combustible materials as: non-combustible products that prevent the facade from catching fire if there is a trigger (inside, outside or in any situation) making them the main material to choose for safe ventilated facades, as Aliva does.
2.By inserting bespoke design tools, such as compartmentalisation of the enclosure with fire plates (between one floor and another) and "fire stop" elements, which expand - if exposed to intense heat - to obstruct the ventilation cavity, preventing a fire from being generated and spreading within the building or on neighbouring structures. These and other devices are inserted into the ventilated façade design after careful analysis of the case and if the situation requires it.
